WATERFORD, IRELAND – A 23-year-old footballer has died following a “short illness”, which appears to be the result of the COVID-19 vaccine. Roy Butler, a former player for Waterford FC, died at the young age of 23. Sources close to Roy’s family claim that he had received the J&J COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, August 13th. He unexpectedly passed away just four days later on Tuesday, August 17th. He had no known health issues prior to his sudden death.

In tributes paid online, Roy has been described as a true gentleman, a ‘superb young lad’, and a great footballer. Waterford FC tweeted: “All at Waterford FC wish to pass its condolences to Roy’s family, friends, and club and teammates. May he rest in peace.”
