A doctor has been caught in a sting on a hidden camera issuing ‘fake’ medical exemptions for New Zealand’s vaccine mandate. According to Newshub, Dr. Jonie Girouard, who runs a weight loss clinic near Christchurch on New Zealand’s South Island, issued the certificates to help her unvaccinated patients get around workplace jab mandates and international border rules.
Girouard was filmed by NewsHub who smuggled a hidden camera into the doctor’s office.
The reporter paid $80 for the appointment, in which Girouard explained how to use the exemption to get around the employer mandate.
“You’re here because you’re not crazy about being vaccinated. Great, okay you are in the right spot.
I mean really this is horrible, horrible medicine.”
The doctor has filed for an exemption against the vaccine and is still waiting for a reply, saying on film:
“Nah, you couldn’t force me, I’ll stop practicing medicine before I get vaccinated with this vaccine. I have had lots of vaccines before, but not this one.”
Several people took to social media to call Girouard a ‘hero’ for giving medical exemptions against the forceful mandate.
Girouard has now been reported to the government where she will presumably face charges for aiding those who wish to avoid the vaccine. It is unknown what those penalties will be, but we will keep an eye on this case.
