SAINTES, CHARENTE-MARITIME – A 32-year-old veteran triathlete is forced to suspend his season after a severe adverse reaction to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Antoine Méchin received his first shot on June 28th and his second shot on August 16th. He suffered shortness of breath and low-back pain shortly after. Several tests recently showed that Antoine is suffering from a pulmonary embolism as a result of the vaccines.
Following his first Moderna COVID-19 injection on June 28th, Antoine had difficulty breathing and pain in his left arm. 3 weeks after the first shot, during a trail race, he still suffered from pain in the left arm and shortness of breath explains Antoine in a Facebook post. The next day, on July 18th, after an examination at Saintes Hospital, doctors told him not to worry and that it was ‘stress’ and ‘fatigue’ causing his symptoms.
On August 16th, he took his second Moderna COVID-19 shot – to be able to swim in a pool, now that it is mandatory. Around 1 month later on September 13th, the same symptoms occurred (shortness of breath, pain in his body). Several tests at a sports clinic in Bordeaux on September 21st showed that Antoine is suffering from pulmonary embolism.
Antoine said: “I am now getting treatment and I hope to regain my lung capacity (in 3-6-9-12 months?) Until then: rest and low intensity for several months. Damaging healthy people to preserve the health of the weakest, a choice of backward logic. I would not get vaccinated again if it had to be done again.”Please consider supporting by sharing or making a donation.
