ITALY – A healthy athlete has been hospitalized for over a month now after being diagnosed with a heart condition shortly after receiving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Alexandre Kisonga, a professional basketball player, got his shot around the end of July. He suffered multiple health problems after the injection and was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with perimyocarditis. Perimyocarditis refers to acute pericarditis and myocarditis.

Mr. Kisonga, of Congo-Angolese origin, has lived in Italy since the age of 4. He made the decision to share his COVID-19 vaccine injury story because he feels that there is “not enough talk about the side-effects”. He took to social media and posted this on Instagram:

Translation: “I have been hospitalized for 1 month. I am diagnosed with acute perimyocarditis, in other words, an infection that causes inflammation of the pericardium that surrounds the heart. The symptoms I had were fatigue, fever, headache, chest & neck pains and palpitations. Believe me or not but the symptoms started right after the second dose of the vaccine. Initially, I didn’t give any weight to it, but then unfortunately the symptoms increased over the next several days. What I regret most is that we don’t talk about it !!! I then discovered that this is one of the possible side effects of the vaccine and that it generally happens to “young” people (the “young” fills me with joy). Talking about it does not necessarily mean I’m accusing someone or anyone, it simply means informing people to ensure that people with certain symptoms do not waste time to seek treatment as I did. I lost 2 weeks between the symptoms and diagnosis. We are experiencing a pandemic that has upset everyone, and any news that can help others should be disclosed without fear. There will still be those who don’t want to get vaccinated. The statistics on the vaccines say that the benefits are greater than the harm and here I wonder … Am I a minority who has suffered vaccine damage? Who takes care of this? Or rather: is someone responsible for it? From what I can judge, if someone earns money with tampons or vaccines, shouldn’t they be responsible for compensating those who unfortunately had negative effects?! Not to mention the psychological damage of being hospitalized in the Covid period (I’m especially sorry for the elderly). And to those who say this phenomena happens only to a minority, I ask you to put yourself in the shoes of that minority by pretending as if it had happened to you / your child / relative / friend etc. Try that and remember that the freedom to choose is sacred. The paradox is that within a few months, there will be calls for a third shot, and I would be the only one in the world not wanting to take it (for obvious reasons), and for that, I would then be criticized by you and others.”
